Thai cookery evening

I do enjoy a bit of cooking, so when J invited me to join her on a Thai cooking evening in Braine l’Alleud, I didn’t need to think about it.
The evening was hosted by Boon and her family. This was her first evening course conducted in English.
Boon is evidently also an excellent (and very patient) chef. She showed our group of eight how to make vegetable spring rolls, a tangy king prawn salad and marvellous perch wrapped in banana leaves.

Hello, you. I'm Mike Padgett. I'm not a Princeton curator, Knoxville mayoral candidate, Kentuckian pastor or Arizona journalist, I just share the same name as those guys. I'm a user experience consultant, expatriate, traveller, writer and pro cycling enthusiast.
I'm originally from Yorkshire, England but nowadays I live in Belgium. My current favourite Belgian beer is Black Albert. I started my website in 2005 and I've been running it ever since.
